Rivals is a large painting at 138 x 103 x 3 cm. It is full of action and energy, the tension of the fight coming through the painting. I was inspired by the late great artist LeRoy Neiman and the fantastic painting of Rocky and Apollo Creed at the end of Rocky III. In creating this painting I used various techniques combining fine art and abstract expressionism which was really liberating artistically. The painting is on high quality artist canvas stretched over a bespoke wooden frame. The boxed edges are painted black. It is ready to hang.
