Wild Poppies, blown in the wind, tangled in grass, dandelion seeds and wild roses. My eyes are drawn to the blood red blooms. A cacophony of colour. wild and free, untamed and raw. Beautiful wild poppies open to the sun. In this painting I have tried to capture a moment. Poppies swaying and moving in the wind, a representation of shape and colour caught from the corner of my eye. A shimmer of golden light and vibrant form. The true nature of wild flowers. Poppies has been finished in a satin varnish. The boxed edges match the painting. It is ready to hang.
