The Nature of Wild Things is inspired by the perfection of naked beauty. Unpreened and untamed the garden becomes alive with spindly arms reaching toward light and rose heads dripping petals. Life is drawn to these wild places, insects buzz and butterflies float. I am drawn to these wild places. Here is where I see beauty. The Nature of Wild Things is an abstract arrangement of colour which suggests the wild corners of my garden. Within this abstract colour shapes of plants and flowers draw the viewer in and move the eye around the painting. Juxtaposed to this suggested form are beautiful delicate butterflies.
