My painted heart, an experiment with colour, uniformity and chaos. I don’t want controlled love, I want wild, chaotic love with all its passion, joy, grief, sadness and jealousy. My painted heart is a large painting created on two panels (Diptych). The total image size is 160 x 100 x 2 cm. Each panel measures 80 x 100 x 2cm. My painted heart has been created using acrylic and enamel paints. The square shapes have been painted separately, 307 miniature expressionist landscapes reflecting the sky and the earth, light and shade, love and grief. Each shape has been applied separately and glued on. The hearts have been painted to reflect the world and the of emotion, each heart has been applied individually and glued on.
