Fragile is an experimental work. Some of my previous floral oil paintings have an abstract background which was filled around a Jackson Pollock inspired drip... I was curious to see what effect I could achieve using this technique in a portrait. It brings a contemporary twist to the image and a suggestion that beauty is fragile and could be easily shattered... Fragile
